ActiveDSP™ today announced its relationship with Texas Instruments (TI) as a member of the Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Developer Network and will debut its real time testing and optimization solutions for TI DSPs at the Texas Instruments Developer Conference (TIDC.)

Abstract: Designs are becoming increasingly complex. Device software has to be optimized (DSO), created faster, more cheaply, and more reliably. To meet these demands ActiveDSP has developed the Real-Time Functional Debugger as a tool for debugging and analyzing the functional behavior of an embedded application running on DSPs, microcontrollers and microprocessors.

The ActiveDSP Debugger allows for real-time, nonintrusive debugging, control and monitoring of variables and analyses and tunes (optimizes) applications while they run on the actual processor.
